Made It is not an emergency service. It is not connected to 911, other emergency dispatch services, or any monitoring center, and no one is guaranteed to be watching or to respond. Location sharing depends on your device, network connection, and battery, and is not guaranteed to be accurate, current, or delivered. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services directly.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a Made It account or using the app in any way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Made It.
2. What Made It Is (and Isn't)
Made It is a communication and location-sharing tool that helps people who trust each other stay in touch and see each other's location when they choose to share it. It's meant to support the way people already check on each other - not to replace judgment, direct communication, or professional safety and emergency services.
Made It does not monitor your safety on our behalf, does not dispatch help, and does not guarantee that any other member of your Space is watching, available, or will respond. Features are provided on a best-effort basis and may be limited by your device, connectivity, permissions, or battery life.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Made It account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should only use Made It with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian.
4. Your Account
Made It accounts are created through Google Sign-In. You're responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account tied to your Made It account, and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
5. Spaces, Location Sharing & Your People
A "Space" is a group you create or join with people you choose to trust. Joining a Space and marking yourself visible shares your approximate live location with the other active members of that Space, for the day, until you leave or the day resets. You control when you're visible; other members of a Space you're in can see it while you are.
If you create and own a Space, you're responsible for who you invite into it and for managing its membership. Removing someone from a Space, or deleting a Space you own, removes their access to it.
Don't use location sharing, group chat, or any other Made It feature to monitor, track, harass, or control another person without their knowledge and willing participation. Sharing your own location is always your choice - it should never be coerced.
6. Acceptable Use
When using Made It, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, stalk, or endanger another person.
- Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
- Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to circumvent the security of the app or its infrastructure.
- Use Made It to transmit content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the messages and content you send through Made It. By sending content through the app, you give us the limited permission needed to store, transmit, and display it to the other members of the relevant Space, solely to operate the service. You're responsible for what you send, and for having the right to send it.
We may remove content, or restrict access to a Space or account, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
8. Service Availability & Changes
Made It is under active development. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We'll try to give notice of significant changes where practical, but we can't promise a specific level of uptime or performance.
9. Termination
You can stop using Made It at any time. You can delete your account yourself from Account Management in the app, which removes your profile, your Space memberships, and the messages you've sent. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, to protect other users, or to comply with legal obligations.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Made It is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that location data will be accurate or timely.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Purple Robot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, safety incident, or harm arising from reliance on the app's location, presence, or messaging features, including reliance in an emergency.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Purple Robot from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the app, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of another person's rights.
13. Governing Law

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Made It changes. Material changes will appear in an updated version of this page, dated above, and where appropriate we'll bring them to your attention in the app.
